In my grief cave, I’ve been thinking alot about my work as a sacred intimacy coach. . It doesn’t seem as simple as, “I’m a love, sex, and relationship coach.” I have often times felt like I have underplayed the depth of spirituality I hold and bring into my work with clients.
And if you were a fly on the wall in a session, sometimes it doesn’t even seem like I am a love, sex, and relationship coach. We are doing deep somatic and embodiment work around parts, emotions, etc. It feels like I am helping people step onto a spiritual path. Expanding their consciousness and changing their lives as they do their own inner work.
When I reflect on these two threads, I sometimes ask myself: “Am I a spiritual guide or a love, sex, & relationship coach?”
The answer in some ways is both because I see both relationships and spirituality so interwoven.
In this episode, I deep dive on the interwoven nature I feel and have experienced between intimacy and spirituality. To me, intimacy is a spiritual practice. And spirituality is about shifting all of our relationships.
